Very unfair.

Its fair to say we haven't done well in the transfer market buying players recently but he sold players for absolute top dollar in his time here.
He was part of the management team that gave the players the perceived market values.
Even if those players were here before him, nobody was willing to pay that kind of money for them at the time.
Nobody was offering big money for Maddison after his loan to Aberdeen.
