The number of chances given to the opposition, even with barnes and Sargent, suggest to me losing them isn’t the main problem.

But obviously a big blow.

I think we’ll be ok this season, but I don’t think Wagner can turn this round. Players don’t buy into his tactics judging by the last couple of games.

My biggest concern for the future is pipeline of players coming through. If the model is to top up our playing budget by selling, where is the top up coming from after selling Sara and Rowe? (And what does our squad look like without those two, if that is where we end up next season). Without a pipeline of players, (or external investment), the quality of the squad will continue to decline. Which is exactly how we ended up in the roeder era. Selling everyone we could sell and replacing with cheaper (worse) players until we had no one left to sell and no budget to improve.
