I'm assuming we've all worked for good managers/leaders/employers and bad ones.

However professional we are, our performance/motivation/buy in levels are never as high under the bad ones.

It's no different for footballers, save that in a sport of incremental gains, even the mildest drop off in performance will have a significant impact on the pitch.
