Simplistic view on modern day situation.

Massive tailbacks on northbound A11 approaching Thickthorn. Took an hour and half to get from attleborough. Car accident. Two police cars parked 3/4 side on, with cones and lights flashing. Single copper in each. Crashed car just sitting there.Occupants not present.
“Back in the day” some Real Man would’ve slung a gretole rope around the front axle and towed the bloody thing up to the roundabout, whilst his mate swept up the road. Job done in 10 minutes.
