The departing Majority Shareholders and Sporting Director, had all naively assumed the right to a 'happy clappy' transition, which celebrated the club 'being in a stronger position' than they inherited... a glorious tenure...a job well done.
Whilst aspects of that are true, it is unfortunately an industry in which you are judged by league position and levels of 'feelgood' within what is an extremely patient and pragmatic fanbase.
If ZW wants to be left with a single iota of respect from those fans, she needs to negotiate an earlier than planned departure for her husband.
The convenience of the package, which suited both their personal financial needs and his professional aspirations should be shredded. The club is in disarray, it is directionless and whilst the manager is undoubtedly 'at the wheel', he is certainly in no state to drive.
Nobody doubts the effort Wagner has put in, or his integrity as a human being, but when it's over (as Snakepit divorcees have no doubt discovered) it really is over.
We need David Wagner and Stuart Webber out of the club at the very earliest opportunity. Business is business...
