A couple of years ago we'd have praised Worthy's smokescreens and waited eagerly for news of the real target - a dedicated right winger, perhaps ... Alas, the signings last summer (& during the season) were so uninspiring that all faith in Worthy's transfer prowess has all but evaporated.

Personally, I let all the transfer speculation wash over me whatever the source. I'll get annoyed when Duncan Fucking Ferguson signs ...

The laminate isn't too bad actually - a bit buckled, but will probably need replacing. Maybe it'll teach me to be late for work. Maybe not.
