Ironically the theory was that the “fans” had turned on Farke after the Leeds game

Where IMHO there were encouraging signs but we were conned by Leeds being Leeds. This gave rise to a “board decision” to sack Farke no matter what the result at Brentford was. After all the benefits that he had brought to the club there was no “if we lose” or “give him a deadline” just “you’re fired”

Biggest mistake made at the club since appointing Roeder. We probably would have been relegated but there is a vast difference between a top 17 club and a top 26 club. DF had consistently delivered a top 22 club way above his target.

And now we sit as the 37th club 11 spaces below that target with no “hero” in the team to excite us. Dean Smith took a team that DF was getting in shape and ruined it. David Wagner seems to be a one trick pony with only half a plan.

In just under 2 years I have totally lost interest in a club I have supported through thick and thin for 50 odd years.

DF’s sacking was a knee jerk reaction of the worst kind and nothing has yet removed the shock and anger from finding out on the way home from Brentford where I thought that a corner had been turned only for the board to slam us into reverse and accelerate as hard as possible.
