Not quite.

Rolling contracts don't have an ending, but will often have key dates baked in to allow parties to end them. So Wagner may have a contract that runs June to June, and if he's sacked in say December, he's paid up until the following June.

I would not be surprised if Wagner goes at the end of the season to allow Knapper the chance to pick his own man.
