Well, I found it funny...

I think you've got to look at the (unintentionally) humorous side of some of these celeb ghostwritten autobiographies, or their very existence would be too depressing.

For a proper, literary, recommendation, I'm nearly finished reading Bread and Circus by Airea Dee Matthews. There's been a lot of poetry tackling the same kind of issues and topics, but rarely done so astutely or with such impact.
