I know these are pesky facts but......

Webber arrived in April 2017.

We didn't sell James Maddison till June 2018

Webber was part of the decision to not loan him out again.

This in turn gave him the chance to develop which lead to a 25M transfer. (which balanced the books)

To gloss over this is clearly more cherry picking.
Nobody was offering us big money for Maddison after his Aberdeen loan.
