I sense the board has largely lost the ability to think for itself

It's now too 'close' to the Knapper appointment for them I suspect to make that call. They will be praying for a couple of results to limp to that 27/11 handover start.
The season will be over by the end of the year barring a miracle.
I suspect the Idah flounce last night was a clue that Wagner has lost the dressing room, in terms of the type of game that the players want to try to play.
