Not the fire brigade , but the police on a couple of occasions

once when working in Alton Hampshire , one evening two gentlemen came out of a pub throwing punches and it was soon obvious it was not a fair fight so called the police

and on a couple of occasions when i have been threatened I've called them , which has proved a very effective way to end the threats and allow me to be on my way
