Possibly the perception we have squandered our position

Maybe I'm misremembering but when he cane in we had a healthy financial position with lots of young players worth a lot of money (and sold for a lot of money, and then a lot of PL revenue brought in). At best he's leaving us in the same position as he found us.

It doesn't feel like we've progressed, and we've been recently bailed out with US investment.

His TL:DR could be "Good Times and Missed Opportunities".

But to be fair.... it could've been much much worse. Not sad to see him go, thankful for the period he oversaw.
