Building up pairings/understandi ngs

I don't think we're rich enough to have many players who will always unambiguously improve us regardless of who we play.

So having a range of players so that we can build understandings is key.

So having a decently fit squad is too.

Barnes and Sarge are greater than the sum of their parts.

Rowe seems to have built up a decent understanding with Stacey/Dimi.

Waaay back I thought Jackson was our best CB, but Mackay and Flemming were our best pairing.

Injuries disrupt all of this, regardless of who is first choice.
