Bowen`s most memorable game I think

was when he replaced Ian Culverhouse as sweeper against Inter Milan at the San Siro stadium when , with half our side out through suspension or injury we more tham matched Inter on a bumpy pitch . Bowen was superb that day and I remember one glorious run that he made from the sweepers oposition having won the ball at the back straight down the middle past a couple of players before releasing the ball to Ekoku.
Aah those were the days.
