Still best to have VPN set to Portugal ?

I’m abroad, as I often am, but on Weds had bad problems with streams ( which is unusual). I paid my £10 to the club but all night couldn’t access the action( club has refunded me). Also the Soccerstreams etc kept stalling & I never found a reliable one. Normally I set my VPN to a UK settling with no probs. Today, do you think I should try the Portugal setting ?
