I respect the premise

However there is no injury crisis in our defence and not really much of one in our midfield.

As SCC pointed to last night, our defensive record away from home is worse than in the Prem seasons. We only have Hanley and Batth who can come in to make a difference at the back and Nunez has yet to show consistently that he's actually a major loss in the middle. Certainly not a starter right now.

Watching last night, I just thought that we looked like an incredibly average side with players that really aren't that great all over the pitch.

Maybe I'm just feeling miserable, but right now I can't see how we approach any away game with any confidence at all.
