The defenders clearly had stinkers on Saturday

Duffy for goals 3 and 4, can't really see from the "highlights" if there were other clangers for the other goals.

However, more generally, there is clearly a major flaw in the system we're playing. With the personnel available, we look toothless up front, weak in midfield, and exposed at the back.

If we persist with that approach over the coming weeks, I'll lose patience with DW. The system wasn't any good for most of the second half of last season (after Dowell was injured) and it's not looked good in the last 4 games either. If it relies entirely on having Barnes and Sargent, there is no point persisting with it. I'm not even sure that is really the issue - seems to me that Plymouth worked us out. They didn't play any short goal kicks for a start, knowing that a lot of our chances come from transition. Instead, they pumped it long, sat behind the ball and waited for us to f**k it up. Which happened time and time again.

Sort it out, Wagner. The starting point needs to be a formation that is robust. We can't keep blaming individual errors - if the players can't deliver what they're being asked to on the ball, we need to find a tactic / formation that doesn't ask so much.
