To be honest it was one of those days where everything went wrong

I suspect Plymouth had no more than 8 shots snd they scored with 6 of them.

We had a lot of possession but just got punished when we gave the ball away.

But this has been coming. Somehow the 4-4-2 works ok with Sargent and Barnes because they both work so hard abd drop back and defend from the front. But without those two it’s a disaster. Sara is not physical enough to be one of the two and when Kenny has an off day it leaves our centre backs so exposed. We might get away with that more were it not that neither CB has any pace so you end up with two slow centre backs being run at by the counter attacking side.

We really need to get someone in alongside Duffy who has more pace.

We really need to persist with Foreshaw (or Gibbs) and push Sara into the number 10 role further forward. We really need to switch back to 4-2-3-1 until Sargent returns. Hopefully now these things will happen.

Plymouth weren’t great to be honest and we didn’t deserve to lose 2-6 but these chickens have been waiting to come home to roost for a while and today they did.
