is that i agree with you on that statement , but i must add a caveat to that in that what i think happens is that for most people they lose the time and money to buy music or tickets for gigs and it takes time and effort to find good music that you like , when bringing up a family /building a career ,etc

That is what happened to me until my family grew up , i then found i had time and money to seek out the music i liked and time to go to gigs
