It's really odd isn't it?

Holt and Edworthy are cases in point. Both went from being Premiership first choices to not even worth a place in the championship squad almost overnight. With both of them surely the truth was that they couldn't hack it in the Premier league and should have been dropped earlier, but could well have done a job in the championship. For all his travails last season, would Holt REALLY have been worse than Hughes this season? And I'd have Eddy ahead of Flem every time at RB.
