Oh dear oh dear oh dear

I say the stats "suggest" we don't take them seriously - they don't "prove" it - we might just have been unlucky for all those years. I was using the "stats" selectively to make a point - about "stats" really. I haven't seen enough cup games over the years to make a judgement. Similarly stats "suggest" that Sutch was a good player - but they don't "prove" it. And having seen him play I know he wasn't good.
