That's my thoughts, leaving that catch for Brook said it all for me

he is such a confidence player, and abdicating that catch just showed that its shot.
That isn't a dig, it was the right call as Brook held it!
If he was looking fluent with the bat but getting Jaffers i'd maybe stick with it, but he is scratchy as hell with the bat as well.

He, and England, would benefit from either a break entirely or focusing just on his batting.
