I did the Greyhound across and back when I was 19. Covered 21 states and basically saw the

Bus station of every city, which wasn’t always in the most picturesque of places. It was amazing other than the fact we couldn’t get drinks in most places and we were stuck for onward travel once we’d arrived in each city. Along with inter railing in my mid 20s, I couldn’t imagine doing either of these without the internet and just relying on a book from Jarrolds like we did.
