I agree with you there I think it has been close.

Suspect it'll get further apart as the Aussies press their advantage, which is what they are traditionally so good at, get on top and stay there.
Their batting line up is strong, if its clicking against our weakened attack it is going to be hard work.

Not their fault, and it'll still be better than it would have been.
