yes - everyone knows the decision could have gone either way

that's obvious - the question is whether at the time it was justified, and the answer to that is yes, in my view - we could easily have taken a couple of wickets and the game would have been firmly in our favour (as well as the aussies freaked).
you can't rely in what happened next to justify the decision one way or the other, unless what happens is virtually inevitable (and so sheds light on the situation at the earlier point in time)
