Very bold wasn't it, I just wonder if it was done more as a statement than sensible..

I thought it would have been sensible to just let Root carry on whilst he's there. Fine, once he was out, declare.

That said, had we nicked a wicket last night, I'd have said it was a masterful decision so hindsight and all that!
