I want it to be and it is

"When you've got a manager who's taking an interest in you, rather than looking out for himself...."

A bizarre comment to say the least if he is just talking in 'general' terms, wouldn't you think? Why on earth say such a thing?

Who else would he be talking about? Any suggestions? I'm prepared to be corrected - but I can't see how I can be.
