Will History be kind to Webber?

Overall I think it will be.

We did have some decent success for a club our size and lack of funding.
(Look how many similar sized clubs with more finances have been stuck in the champs and even LG1)

On the transfer market we bought cheap/free players incredibly well.
We sold players for absolute top money (Think Ben G for 25M)

But we did unfortunately continue the tradition of spending the big money poorly in the PL and also did a poor job of bringing in loans for the PL.

For those saying he did a terrible job then I would say you are wrong.
The proof is, are his services in demand going forward.

The timing of this announcement is a little odd.
It does seem like a bit of a "come and get me" announcement as I only have 9 months left on my contract.
I don't expect him to be here one month from now
BMTP.....

Saying all that we may not be privy to all the facts.
Normally if a club is taken over they like to bring in a new team of top management so this could be part of it if Mark is looking to take over.
If Mark was looking to take over and inject cash it would be a horrendous time to announce it now while we are looking to rebuild and negotiate contracts.
It would make more sense to do it after the window closes.
