I don't think West Ham are crap, but I thought they were last night

I watched them v Leeds recently and its clear they have lots of good players.

West Ham's owners moved them to a bigger ground, have basically doubled their fan base as a consequence, get lots of youngsters into matches on affordaable tickets and then went and brought in someone wealthier when they realised they needed to make the next step to move the club forward.

Ok they were fortunate in terms of being able to take advantage of that deal to move to the Olympic Stadium but it just goes to show what genuine ambition gets you.
