It shouldn't have been though

Like about 75% of penalties given for handball it's total bollocks.
The problem is the f***witted law though, which apparently says to be in a 'natural' position your arms should be pretty much by your side. That might be OK if you are standing still but for any player moving (running, turning, sliding or jumping) then having your arms by your side is basically the most unnatural position imaginable.
