A football club chief has come under fire for describing the quality of the women's game as "really poor".


Erm, no he didn’t. He said NCFC women are low standard. And he’s right, they’re in the 4th tier on womens football. It’s not a high standard within the women’s game.

The questioning of whether the NCFC sporting director should be saying these things is valid. But the BBC article is fundamentally misquoting him.
