No idea why you chose to make it up but perhaps this is why you had such a shocker with your predictions and the Mikey simulation proved the best albeit a bit too optimistic.

I’ve just run an analysis and I see that if you include the Alan Russell games, you get a PPG of 1.38 so this is probably where you went wrong by totally forgetting his 2 league games in charge.
