But for whatever reason, I don’t think that’s the right way to go right now.
The squad is a dogs breakfast of players that are leaving, injured, inexperienced or just plain not very good. When Wagner arrived, the first couple of performances were good, and I’d rank the hull and brum wins as probably the two best home wins of the season.
I’d give him a shot. We don’t want to become a club that bins managers left right and centre.
When Webber arrived, it was all about NCFC having a style that permeated everything at the club, if a player or head coach left, it didn’t matter, we carried on. I’m onboard with that approach and we should get back to it. Webber should be signing good players that make a good team, if it turns out Wagner can’t make them work, someone else can. But the point remains, we give him a shot, if he isn’t up to it, we find someone else. I don’t think we’ve given him a fair crack just yet.
