the worthington petition

Ben (or anyone else who knows)

After reading all the pages of the petition over the past month, I would like to know if it has been sent to Mr Doncaster or if you are waiting for more feedback?

I have to say that some of the messages have brought tears to my eyes. All of the people who responded to the petition (whether they want Worthington to go or stay) care passionately about the club.

Having spent the best part of the past month trying to come to terms with the past season and what to do myself, I have decided to pass on my ST to Meeky as I cannot face going to CR again while NW is there.

Just a personal opinion and I have simply given up trying to fight my principles - can I support the team and club while Worthington is there? I can't, and thanks to NW I now realise I am not a true fan anyway so perhaps better I don't attend until I can come to terms with the way the board see things.

Time will pass and so will NW go to another club. I look forward to that day and hope it comes soon. I just don't trust myself to go to CR and remain calm, not react to provocation (and threats from fellow fans). Never did I think that a failing manager and a misfit team would generate such feeling between fellow supporters.

I hope all you city fans who do go next season find something to enjoy - I know Meeky will enjoy his chance to go, I shall enjoy taking his two girls out for the afternoon and not having to endure any more hoofball.

Ben, I have read many opinons on your home pages - I happen to agree with most of what you have had to say. Doesn't mean you or me are always right, but thank you for saying it anyway. You can get very, very tired of the same old spin!
