Agreed. It really isn't the end of the world to end a Champ season with a poor squad

The quickgire nature of fixtures means you need confidence and resilience within a squad system set-up.
We should be able to attract players to the club and to the area. The facilities and city are second to none for loans from PL clubs too.
I think it is perfectly possible that we go into the new season with renewed optimism, simply because all of this has happened before and the Maddison sell-on may help steady the ship when it inevitably comes.
