Wagner's hand was somewhat forced with what he inherited.

If you start with Gunn, Sara and Hernandez as players we will have next season, it feels like we could do something if DW is given the resoureces to build.
I don't see it as being like the PL where you need an established group which you enhance with big money.
We need players with a work ethic and the enthusiasm to want to play in front of a full house every week.
It will be the equivalent of knocking a house down and largely starting again...but think of what it might look like if we can give him the freedom to recruit players who 'get the club'.
We've suffered for losing Hanley, Gibson and Kenny, but all of those players can't possibly be part of the medium to long term because of their age and proven weakness when it comes to fitness and consistency at the highest level.
The bed has been shat...lets start to think positively and give Teemu a big thank-you as a starting point for building a new future.
