🎙 Our pre-match press conference today will take place at 5️⃣pm.

DW on Onel: "He always works hard but also has the space to improve, that's why we're excited to go into the next two years with him. I haven't a shadow of a doubt he will work hard for it."

DW on Onel: “It’s going to be an important pre-season for him. He had this injury, but we must make sure he can consistently train on the highest level.”

DW: “We have to refresh this group and we will refresh this group in the summer. We have done the first steps and lots is going on behind the scenes.”

DW: "We are smart enough that we all know, wherever we will be next season, we have to refresh this group. What that means exactly, we will see."

DW on contracts: "Kieran (Dowell), we are in conversation with, but like with Onel, the important thing is he can get back to full fitness. Sam (Byram) was out for a long time and we'll just have to see how that progresses."

DW: "Dimi will be out for tomorrow, he follows the concussion protocol. At the minute, he is how he should be but there can always be set-backs. At the minute, we expect him back for training next week."

DW: "I was very happy with Isaac's performance, and that he could carry on for 80 minutes. He felt very fatigued afterwards which is normal after five months out."

DW on Tim Krul: “He dislocated his finger, but he’s Dutch, so returned to training two days later.”

DW on Russell Martin: "I respect his career here as a player, I don't know if we came up against each other but I know he was a legend here. He's in his first steps as a manager, and doing well, it'll be special for him coming back."

DW on Swansea City: “They are in good form, but this doesn’t count at KO tomorrow. We were in good form then lost to Sunderland. We are prepared and know what they are doing.”

DW on home form: “Park your frustration for tomorrow. We have to win our home games. If everybody is only focused on the frustrations of before, we won’t get the full support we will need tomorrow.”

DW on top six hopes: “One win can change everything immediately. We have to fight.”
