I don't suggest we'd have been brilliant

But we'd be a lot better - the other players must have been affected by the loss of the injured ones too - morale and leadership - and I don't think boro would have thrashed us - ditto effect on morale. And not having a central defence probably makes the team more cautious going forward. I just think it shouldn't be underestimated. Players are not like subetteo pieces that a manager can just slot in and out
