This is for the best.

We need to stop the denial. This is what we are. We need to stop all this "we might make the playoffs BS" and lean in to the reality. We are at the very best an average Champs team that is only going to get worse with people out of contract.

Otherwise we'll go in to the summer with a view that the squad is somehow "nearly there" and we just need a nip and tuck. And that we're a "big team" that will "walk the playoffs" next season.

We won't. And everyone associated with the club needs to start doing something about, which will only be possible when they accept the truth.
