Make sure you have a piss before you go into the start pens, you can be waiting a while to get going.
Don't go off too fast, even though it is really tempting to.
Even if you think you can't run any more, do not stop. The moment you stop you feel like your legs don't exist anymore and it is hard to start again. You'll have heard this before, but 90% of completing the marathon is your mental approach.
There were a surprising amount of Norwich shirts in the crowd
At the one I did, they were trialling these sports drinks capsules, basically like a big liquid ball that you chomp on and drink. Don't do what I did, which is chomp on one when breathing in and then vomit it all back up on a race volunteer
Try to latch on to a pace maker or any moving human at about 6 miles to go. You may wish to snottily cry onto said pacemaker when you cross the finish line, but your mileage may vary
