Head coach David Wagner will be speaking to the media at 1️⃣2️⃣.3️⃣0️⃣pm today ahead of our trip to Loftus Road.
------------------------------------------------------------

DW: "It looks like we'll have more or less the same squad available. There are a few knocks but I don't think it'll be too bad. We'll make final calls later on."

DW on Friday defeat: "We created some good opportunities in the first 40 minutes, second half we hit the post and should have had a penalty. But the goals we gave away so, so easy. The key moments in the first half, we were poor."

DW on Boro: “We started this game quite well. It makes no sense to speak in detail about a 5-1 defeat. We created some good opportunities, but conceded some poor goals. The emotion was too much for the players and they lost their heads. The young lads will learn.”

DW: "We have to put it to bed. There's nothing we can change about it - we can just take the right experience from the game and move forward.

DW on player apologies online: “I like to see they show a reaction on the grass. No supporter gains from an apology on social media. If my players apologise on social media and then perform, that’s perfect.”

DW: "We need to be ruthless, show passion and desire to defend your goal, and still have the bravery and freedom to make moments happen where you can score. This is what we have to do consistently."

DW on team selection tomorrow: “At the end of the day, I cannot say I will react in this or that manner. It’s about how the players react in training and the meetings.”

DW on Josh Sargent: “Josh fitness wise is top. If Josh Sargent is on the pitch then you can feel energy and emotion. He wasn’t quite as clinical in the past, but this goal (against Boro) will give him a lift. I’m pleased with Josh and his behaviour.”

DW on Isaac Hayden: “He has not played a competitive game for five months. But has been back in team training for two weeks. Is he ready to start? I don’t know. We would have preferred to give him gametime yesterday, 65 or 70 minutes but at this stage of the season, we couldn't do that. I'm happy that he's back, and he's desperate to play after so long."

DW on last four games left: “We should only focus on tomorrow night. It’s all about QPR tomorrow. We must defend with desire and be clinical.”

DW on QPR: "It's a big game for both teams for different reasons. We are used to a direct style which they play under their new manager. We've faced a comparable style so we know what to expect. We face a similar style against Millwall and Rotherham, as they are a physical side and play in a small and tight stadium. We love to being playing for something, so this is great."
