Think a good number of Supporters did (inc on here)

The Championship is hard. We walked it last two times (once unexpectedly) and some did assume we would be up there again. To an extent that is a combination of naivity and arrogance / expectation but it is entirely understandable, we had forgotten how tough this league is. Yes mistakes were made (big ones) but to call this season total failure is wrong. Disappointing maybe.... However those who bemoan being midtable in the Champs need to remember we are at least competitive in this Division. I have utterly hated being relegation fodder of the worst order last two Prem seasons. Part of me wants to see us go back up - an equal part of me is petrified at the thought. Burnley played Man C in the Cup and lost 6-0.... Burnley by a Country Mile are the best we have.

In any event we won't go up without Central Defenders and that's just down to bad luck. Build on it for next year....OTBC
