One man is almost never to blame

But Dean Smith’s football was soulless and sadly other than a few games Wagner’s has been going that way too (although the effort is higher at least).

Note also that Farke’s football in that last partial season was also dull and cautious.

Having said all of that, I’m still of the belief that we should never have fired Farke, that we should have fired Smith, probably much sooner, and one of the best available candidates was Wagner.
