NHS Emergency Department

Had the misfortune to spend 9 hours in A/E last night with the other half. She was the patient and spent 14 hours in there, 9 hours waiting to see a Doctor. Ambulances queuing up outside. At least 5 F-bombs heard from staff not work related and a staff member looking forward to getting s**t-faced pretty soon. Mrs is now on short stay ward awaiting further tests. Sad part is I work in the same hospital and she used too. Heartbreaking when your on the other side.
