Isn’t the fundamental point that since Emi left we’ve been s**t?

Farke got sacked on the basis the squad was underperforming compared to its ability. It wasn’t. It was a s**t squad.

Smith got sacked for the same reason. The squad was probably underperforming in his last 10 games. But probably about right points per game over the season.

Now what? Hopefully we face up to the fact bigger changes are needed to the squad. If we just take the view the spine is there based on the era we had Emi Buendia, and tweak round the edges, we’ll be sacking Wagner this time next year (or sooner) and will be no better off, probably even worse.

Webber needs to take the same attitude he turned up with and apply it to the situation in front of him. If he can’t see the issues or refuses to own them, he has to go. I’m sure many think he has to go either way.
