Refurbishing facilities is also a relatively minor cost these days

Given the inflation of transfer fees and wages, spending a few million (or half a Tzolis) on improving facilities is a much smaller relative cost, compared to what it would have been twenty years ago. Pretty much all clubs of our size are doing it.
