Hanley is good at defending certain situations but he’s

Hopeless at defending one on one when someone runs directly at him.

Which is a shame because we have a formation and midfield set up that exposes the central defenders quite often although admittedly half the time just after they’ve gifted the ball to the opposition themselves.

The way he dealt with that Sunderland goalscorer was pretty much the pole opposite of the coaching manual!
