Sign of the times innit

Isnt it the case these days that any kids with promise are just hoovered up by the massive clubs. So there isnt the same talent to be found in lower leagues as there was. The pathway to the top is now completely different for most good players. Not to say there wont be some gems, but not so many. And we probably can't afford those few gems that there are anymore, as they'll get snapped up by Crystal Palace for 15m to be a squad player, whereas 15m is likely our entire budget (if we're lucky with some sales) for next summer.
