The flaw in your reasoning is that your preference for scoring goals and winning will

inevitably get you promoted which apparently is not what you want. I am under no illusion that if by some miracle we did get promoted that it would be a very painful season for us. However the money we would get would allow us to rebuild the team which is what is needed. If we don't go up that investment for rebuilding is going to be a lot less.
